Chet Hanks says he’s currently stuck in Medellín, Colombia, after running into trouble trying to fly home to the U.S. on a Greek passport. As a dual citizen, he left his nearly expired American passport behind and was told at the airport he couldn’t board without valid U.S. documentation, something he doesn’t have with him. Now he’s awaiting help, saying the only way out may be through the U.S. Embassy in Bogotá, and jokingly asking followers to “free me” from the situation.
